The AATF aatf (Catalog #MBS2401124) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-AATF Antibody (clone 3C7) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s AATF can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, Western Blot (WB).IF: 10 ug/ml
IHC-P: 10 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AATF aatf for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The AATF aatf product has the following accession number(s) (GI #7657013) (NCBI Accession #NP_036270.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9NY61). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Anti-AATF Antibody (clone 3C7) with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Anti-AATF antibody IHC staining of human kidney. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody concentration 10 ug/ml.)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescence of monoclonal antibody to AATF on HeLa cell. [antibody concentration 10 ug/ml])
Western Blot (WB) (AATF monoclonal antibody (M04), clone 3C7 Western blot of AATF expression in HeLa NE.)
ELISA (EIA) (Detection limit for recombinant GST tagged AATF is 0.03 ng/ml as a capture antibody.)
May function as a general inhibitor of the histone deacetylase HDAC1.Binding to the pocket region of RB1 may displace HDAC1 from RB1/E2Fcomplexes, leading to activation of E2F target genes and cell cycleprogression. Conversely, displacement of HDAC1 from SP1 bound to the CDKN1A promoter leads to increased expression of this CDK inhibitor and blocks cell cycle progression.
Immunogen: AATF (AAH00591, 151 a.a. ~ 250 a.a) partial recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26 KDa.
Conjugation: Unconjugated. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing AATF are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as AATF may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Prostate tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
