The ACY3 acy3 (Catalog #MBS830846) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s ACY3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB).FC: 1:100
IHC: 1:150
WB: 1:1000-2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ACY3 acy3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ACY3 acy3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #18087825) (NCBI Accession #NP_542389) (Uniprot Accession #Q96HD9). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the ACY3 antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of HEK293T cell lysates (5 ug) transfected with either recombinant ACY3 protein (Right) or empty vector (Left) detected with ACY3 antibody)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of ACY3 protein in paraffin embedded Carcinoma of Human prostate tissue using ACY3 antibody)
Mouse monoclonal ACY3 antibody.
Biological Significance: Aspartoacylase 3, also known as ACY3, is a member of the Aspartoacylase subfamily. It plays an important role in deacetylating mercapturic acids in kidney proximal tubules. ACY3 localizes to the cytoplasm of S2 and S3 proximal tubules and to the apical domain of S1 proximal tubules. ACY3 protein is also expressed at low levels in stomach, testis, heart, brain, lung and liver, and may function as an HCV (Hepatitis C virus) core binding protein. Cross-Reactivity: Human, Dog, Monkey
Immunogen: ACY3 antibody was raised in mouse using a full length recombinant protein of human ACY3 (NP_542389) produced in HEK293T cells, as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ACY3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ACY3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. ACY3 also interacts with the following gene(s): ASPA. Blood, Brain, Kidney, Liver tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Cognition Disorders, Fibrosis, Hypertension, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Vascular Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to ACY3 antibody.
