Testing Data
ADAM22 is a member of the ADAM gene family which bind integrin and may play a role in cell-to-cell or cell-to-matrix interations. ADAM22 is unique in that it is only observed in the nervous system and predominantly in brain. ADAM22 is attached by cytoskeletal scaffolds to the postsynaptic density and is a receptor for LGI1.
Antigen: Fusion protein corresponding to aa 757-857, the cytoplasmic region, of mouse ADAM22 (accession no. Q9R1V6). Positive Control: Rat brain lysate.
Dilution Instructions: Dilute in PBS or medium which is identical to that used in the assay system. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ADAM22 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ADAM22 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Atrophy, Breast Neoplasms, Cognition Disorders, Genital Diseases, Female, Inflammation, Learning Disorders, Mammary Neoplasms, Animal, Memory Disorders, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to ADAM22 (cytoplasmic) Monoclonal Antibody. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain, Ear, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Kidney, Mammary Gland, Muscle, Nerve, Skin, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein.
