The AKR1C1 akr1c1 (Catalog #MBS225458) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AKR1C1 Antibody with Control Lysate reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s AKR1C1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).WB: 1:1000
Western Blotting: Detects a band of approximately 36 kDa in A549 cell lysates. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AKR1C1 akr1c1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The AKR1C1 akr1c1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #416877) (NCBI Accession #Q04828.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q04828). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the AKR1C1 Antibody with Control Lysate with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of whole cell lysates probed with AKR1C1 antibody followed by detection with HRP conjugated Goat anti Mouse IgG (1/10,000) and visualized on the ChemiDoc MP with 6.4 second exposure. Arrow points to AKR1C1 (molecular weight 36 kDa))
Immunogen: Recombinant human AKR1C1. Lysate Composition: 400ug A549 lysate lyophilized in RIPA buffer.
Lysate Reconstitution: If using DDT reconstitute the lyophilized lysate with 190mul DI H2O, add 200mul 2x Laemmli Sample Buffer and 10mul 2M DTT.
If using BME reconstitute the lyophilized lysate with 180mul DI H2O, add 200mul 2x Laemmli Sample Buffer and 20u. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing AKR1C1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as AKR1C1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adipose Tissue, Blood, Brain, Connective Tissue, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Ovary, Skin, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Endometrial Neoplasms, Endometriosis, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Lung Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Hormone-Dependent are some of the diseases may be linked to AKR1C1 Antibody with Control Lysate. AKR1C1 also interacts with the following gene(s): AKR1C3, AKR1D1, CYP17A1, CYP1A1, HSD3B1, HSD3B2, SRD5A1, UGT2B15, UGT2B17.
