The APOA5 apoa5 (Catalog #MBS418361) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-APOA5 (Apolipoprotein A5) (Pair to Human) Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s APOA5 (Apolipoprotein A5) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the APOA5 apoa5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The APOA5 apoa5 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #262231737) (NCBI Accession #NP_001160070.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q6Q788). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Anti-APOA5 (Apolipoprotein A5) (Pair to Human) Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB)
Apolipoprotein A5 (ApoA5) is fast gaining attention as a key regulator of serum triglyceride concentrations. An ApoA5 mouse knock-out model produced an approximately four fold increase in serum triglycerides, whereas a knock-in model with human ApoA5 produced 50-70% lower concentrations of mouse serum triglycerides. In addition, peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor- agonists, which are used clinically to lower serum triglyceride concentrations, cause increased ApoA5 mRNA expression. Despite these compelling molecular biology data, relatively little is known about ApoA5 protein in human serum. This antibody pair detected recombinant apoa5 protein in sandwich ELISA format and could be potential reagents for the development of clinical kits.
Immunogen: Ni-NTA purified recombinant human Apoa5 expressed in E Coli strain BL21 (DE3). Storage Buffer: PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.05% sodium azide. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing APOA5 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as APOA5 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Liver, Lung tissues are correlated with this protein. Arteriosclerosis, Atherosclerosis, Cardiovascular Diseases, Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2, Dyslipidemias, Heart Diseases, Hyperlipidemias, Hypertriglyceridemia, Insulin Resistance, Liver Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-APOA5 (Apolipoprotein A5) (Pair to Human) Antibody.
