The ATG4D atg4d (Catalog #MBS9200130) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ATG4D Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ATG4D can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunofluorescence (IF).
IF~~1:25
WB~~1:100~1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ATG4D atg4d for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The ATG4D atg4d product has the following accession number(s) (GI #528078306) (NCBI Accession #NP_001268433.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q86TL0). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the ATG4D Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescent analysis of U251 cells, using ATG4D Antibody. U251 cells(right) were treated with Chloroquine (50 uM,16h). MBS9200130 was diluted at 1:25 dilution. Dylight Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-mouse lgG at 1:400 dilution was used as the secondary antibody (green).DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).)
Immunofluorescence (IF) ATG4D.

Western Blot (WB) (ATG4D/MB10250 antibody western blot analysis in HL-60 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the ATG4D/MB10250 antibody detected the ATG4D/MB10250 protein (arrow).)
Western Blot (WB) ATG4D.

Autophagy is the process by which endogenous proteins and
damaged organelles are destroyed intracellularly. Autophagy is
postulated to be essential for cell homeostasis and cell remodeling
during differentiation, metamorphosis, non-apoptotic cell death,
and aging. Reduced levels of autophagy have been described in some
malignant tumors, and a role for autophagy in controlling the
unregulated cell growth linked to cancer has been proposed. This
gene encodes a member of the autophagin protein family. The encoded
protein is also designated as a member of the C-54 family of
cysteine proteases.

Antigen Type: Recombinant Protein
Crown Antibody: Yes. Antigen Source: HUMAN. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ATG4D are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ATG4D may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. ATG4D also interacts with the following gene(s): ATG3, ATG7, GABARAPL1, GABARAPL2, MAP1LC3B.
