The BMF bmf (Catalog #MBS606096) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Bcl 2 Modifying Factor (Bmf) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Bcl 2 Modifying Factor can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BMF bmf for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The BMF bmf product has the following accession number(s) (GI #51558688) (NCBI Accession #NP_001003940.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q96LC9). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Bcl2 modifying factor, also known as BMF belongs to the Bcl2 protein family of apoptosis mediators. Bmf is constitutively expressed in many tissues. This protein contains a single Bcl2 homology domain 3 (BH3), and has been shown to bind Bcl2 proteins and function as an apoptotic activator. Also, BMF is a key molecule for histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitors which alters the balance between acetylation and deacetylation, significantly increasing histone acetylation, while strongly inducing apoptosis in a variety of cancer cell types.
Immunogen: Recombinant mouse Bmf. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing BMF are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as BMF may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Anemia, Carcinoma, Fibrosis, Leukemia, Leukemia, Myeloid, Leukemia, Myeloid, Acute, Lymphoma, Neoplasms, Precursor Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia-Lymphoma, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Bcl 2 Modifying Factor (Bmf). Blood, Bone, Brain, Connective Tissue, Kidney, Liver, Lymph, Lymph Node, Thyroid, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. BMF also interacts with the following gene(s): BCL2, BCL2L1, BCL2L2, MAPK8, MCL1.
