The BTRC btrc (Catalog #MBS533939) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s BTRC can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).WB: 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BTRC btrc for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The BTRC btrc product has the following accession number(s) (GI #16117783) (NCBI Accession #NP_378663) (Uniprot Accession #Q9Y297). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the BTRC antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (Western Blot analysis using BTRC antibody
Western Blot analysis of HEK293T cell lysates (5 ug) transfected with either recombinant BTRC protein (Right) or empty vector (Left) detected with BTRC antibody)
Mouse monoclonal BTRC antibody.
Biological Significance: BTRC is a member of the F-box protein family which is characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid motif, the F-box. The F-box proteins constitute one of the four subunits of ubiquitin protein ligase complex called SCFs(SKP1-cullin-F-box), which function in phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitin ation. The F-box proteins are divided into 3classes: Fbws containing WD-40 domains, Fbls containing leucine-rich repeats, and Fbxs containing either differentprotein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the Fbwsclass; in addition to an F-box, this protein contains multiple WD-40 repeats. This protein is homologous to XenopusbTrCP1, yeast Met30, Neurospora Scon2 and Drosophila Slimb proteins. It interacts with HIV-1 Vpu and connects CD4 tothe proteolytic machinery. Cross-Reactivity: Human
Immunogen: BTRC antibody was raised in mouse using a human fragment corresponding to amino acids 52-354 of human BTRC (NP_378663) produced in E Coli as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing BTRC are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as BTRC may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Intestine, Lung, Muscle, Prostate, Skin, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Cardiovascular Diseases, Congenital Abnormalities, Death, Disease Models, Animal, Genital Diseases, Male, Inflammation, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Prostatic Diseases, Uterine Cervical Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to BTRC antibody.
