The CASP3 casp3 (Catalog #MBS2401472) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CASP3/Caspase 3 Antibody (clone ABM1C12) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CASP3/Caspase 3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, Western Blot (WB).IHC-P: 10 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CASP3 casp3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CASP3 casp3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #14790119) (NCBI Accession #NP_004337.2) (Uniprot Accession #P42574). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Anti-CASP3/Caspase 3 Antibody (clone ABM1C12) with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Human Tonsil: Formalin-Fixed, Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE))
Immunohistochemistry (WB) (Human Small Intestine: Formalin-Fixed, Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE))
CASP3/Caspase 3 is a protein which is a member of the cysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) family. Sequential activationof caspases plays a central role in the execution-phase of cellapoptosis. Caspases exist as inactive proenzymes which undergoproteolytic processing at conserved aspartic residues to produce two subunits, large and small, that dimerize to form the active enzyme.
Immunogen: Full length recombinant Caspase-3 protein.
Conjugation: Unconjugated. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CASP3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CASP3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. CASP3 also interacts with the following gene(s): AKT1, APAF1, BCL2, BID, BIRC5, CASP6, CASP8, CASP9, CDKN1A, XIAP. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Bone, Brain, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Prostate, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Brain Ischemia, Breast Neoplasms, Drug Toxicity, Heart Diseases, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Nerve Degeneration, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-CASP3/Caspase 3 Antibody (clone ABM1C12).
