The CCL-16 ccl16 (Catalog #MBS690591) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse Anti-Human CCL-16 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CCL-16 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Neutr. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCL-16 ccl16 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The CCL-16 ccl16 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4759074) (NCBI Accession #NP_004581.1) (Uniprot Accession #O15467). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

CCL16, also known as HCC-4, is a CC chemokine that interacts with CCR1, CCR2, and CCR5. CCL16 is expressed weakly by NK cells, gammadelta T cells, and some T cells and is upregulated in monocytes by IL-10. CCL16 functions as a chemoattractant for monocytes and promotes the maturation of monocyte derived dendritic cells.
Antibody Generation: This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells from a mouse) immunized with human recombinant protein of CCL-16 (also called HCC-4). Reconstitution: Reconstitute the antibody with 200 ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 500 ug/ml. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CCL-16 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CCL-16 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Adenocarcinoma, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Mammary Neoplasms, Animal, Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental are some of the diseases may be linked to Mouse Anti-Human CCL-16. CCL-16 also interacts with the following gene(s): CCR1, CCR2, CCR3, CCR5, CCR8, CXCL11, CXCL13, HRH4. Liver tissues are correlated with this protein.
