The CD103 itgae (Catalog #MBS213119) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MOUSE ANTI HUMAN CD103 reacts with Cynomolgus monkey, Rhesus Monkey and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD103 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Frozen*, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunoprecipitation (IP).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 5 x 105 cells in 100ul.
Immunohistology - Frozen: Minimum Dilution: 1/50; Maximum Dilution: 1/100; Application Note: The epitope recognised by this antibody is reported to be sensitive to formaldehyde fixation and tissue processing. MyBioSource recommends the use of acetone fixation for frozen sections.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/50; Maximum Dilution: 1/100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD103 itgae for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD103 itgae product has the following accession number(s) (GI #148728188) (NCBI Accession #NP_002199.3) (Uniprot Accession #P38570). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

MBS213119 recognises the human CD103 cell surface antigen, also known as the alphaE integrin. This reacts with various subsets of human intra-epithelial lymphocytes:- 40% of lamina propria T-cells; 30% of mesenteric lymphoblasts and some lymphocytes from other mucosa. It recognises less than 0.1% bone marrow cells and less than 0.7% PBL.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide
0.5% Bovine Serum Albumin
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein A from ascites. Immunogen: Human Intestinal lymphocyte
Histology Positive Control Tissue: Intestine
Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the NS1 mouse myeloma cell line.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD103 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD103 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Intestine, Kidney, Lung, Lymph, Skin, Uterus, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. CD103 also interacts with the following gene(s): ITGB7, ITGB8. Adenocarcinoma, Fibrosis, Heart Diseases, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Lymphoma, Neoplasms, Experimental, Pneumonia, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to MOUSE ANTI HUMAN CD103.
