The CD105 eng (Catalog #MBS520592) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Mouse Endoglin (CD105), Purified, (clone MJ7/18), (RatIgG2a,k) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Endoglin (CD105) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).This antibody is suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry, and Flow Cytometry. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD105 eng for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD105 eng product has the following accession number(s) (GI #168693647) (NCBI Accession #NP_001108225.1) (Uniprot Accession #P17813). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Testing Data
anti-mouse CD105 monoclonal antibody specifically binds mouse Endoglin, a cell surface glycoprotein which is highly expressed on human vascular endothelial cells. It is also found on activated monocytes, macrophages, stromal cells and some cytotrophoblasts. CD105 is a type I integral membrane protein. This 90 kDa homodimer forms a heteromeric complex with TGF beta receptors I or II to modulate recognition of TGF-beta1 and TGF-beta3. Endoglin also recognizes other growth factors such as activin A, BMP-2 and BMP-7. Endoglin is involved in cardiovascular development, and may be an useful marker for identifying proliferating endothelium in tumors, as well as for tumor imaging.
Immunization: Rat monoclonal antibody raised against inflamed mouse skin.
Presentation: Purified IgG buffered in PBS and 0.02% NaN3. (Purified from ascitic fluid via Protein G Chromatography). For maximum recovery of contents, spin down tube before use. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD105 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD105 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Atherosclerosis, Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Heart Diseases, Hypertension, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Neoplasms, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-Mouse Endoglin (CD105), Purified, (clone MJ7/18), (RatIgG2a,k).
