The CD117 kit (Catalog #MBS215263) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD117 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS).
Flow Cytometry: Use 20 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul.
Flow Cytometry: Maximum Dilution: Neat. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD117 kit for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The CD117 kit product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4557695) (NCBI Accession #NP_000213.1) (Uniprot Accession #P10721). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse anti Human CD117 antibody, clone 104D2 recognizes the human CD117 cell surface antigen, a 145kDa glycoprotein also known as c-kit. CD117 is expressed by some haematopoietic stem cells (approx. 70% of CD34+ve cells in normal bone marrow are CD117+ve), some acute myeloid leukaemias and by mast cells. Functionally CD117 is a receptor for stem cell factor, and has receptor tyrosine kinase activity. Mouse anti Human CD117 antibody, clone 104D2 is non-neutralising.

CD117 kit

Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide
0.2% Bovine Serum Albumin. Immunogen: MOLM-1 megakaryocytic cell line.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD117 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD117 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain, Heart, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Nerve, Skin, Spleen tissues are correlated with this protein. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors, Heart Diseases, Inflammation, Leukemia, Myeloid, Acute, Liver Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to MOUSE ANTI HUMAN CD117:RPE. CD117 also interacts with the following gene(s): CBL, GRB2, GRB7, JAK2, KITLG, LYN, PIK3R1, PTPN11, PTPN6, TEC.
