The CD122 n/a (Catalog #MBS666303) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The anti-human CD122-Purified (with Antibiotics) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD122 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD122 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. To buy or view more detailed product information and pricing, please click on the technical datasheet page below:
Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the anti-human CD122-Purified (with Antibiotics) with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data
Information: Human CD122 (IL-2 R beta) associates with CD25 (IL-2R alpha) to form a high affinity receptor for IL-2 and is expressed on activated T cells, B cells and monocytes. The cytoplasmic domain of CD122 is involved with signal transduction. Antibody 9A2 is specific for the 75 kd beta subunit CD122 of the high affinity interleukin-2 receptor. Antibody 9A2 (DU-2) inhibits binding of IL-2 to IL-2R beta (CD122).
Performance: Five x 105 ficoll prepared human peripheral blood mononuclear cells were stimulated by incubating 4 hours with 5 ug/ml PHA-P(Sigma). Stimulated cells were harvested by gentle scraping, washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80 ul of anti-CD122 antibody at 20ug/ml. Cells were washed twice and incubated with 2 degree reagent Goat anti-Mouse IgG/FITC, after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 0.16 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG2a negative control at a similar concentration. Production: Antibody was Protein A purified from (low FBS containing) tissue culture supernatant. Purity was >95% Immunoglobulin by SDS-PAGE and contains less than 1% Bovine Immunoglobulin.
Buffer: 50 mM Sodium Phosphate pH 7.5, 100 mM Potassium Chloride, 150mM NaCl, 0.5 mg/ml Gentamicin Sulfate (as a preservative).
Group Header: anti-human CD122
Immunogen: YT-1 acute human leukemia cells. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD122 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD122 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
