The CD14 cd14 (Catalog #MBS219891) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD14 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunoprecipitation (IP).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells or cells or 100ul whole blood.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/25; Maximum Dilution: 1/200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD14 cd14 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD14 cd14 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #41386760) (NCBI Accession #NP_776433.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q95122). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Testing Data (Sheep peripheral blood granulocytes stained with Mouse anti Sheep CD14 followed by Goat anti Mouse IgG:FITC (MBS235142))
Mouse anti Sheep CD14 monoclonal antibody, clone VPM66 recognises ovine CD14, a GPI-anchored ~55kDa membrane glycoprotein and monocyte/macrophage differentiation antigen, belonging to the lipopolysaccharide receptor family. Ovine CD14 is expressed by monocytes, macrophages and peripheral blood granulocytes (Hopkins et. al. 1996). CD14 acts as a receptor for the potent bacterial endotoxin, lipopolysaccharide (LPS), facilitated by LPS-binding protein. The binding of LPS to CD14 results in cell activation, the release of cytokines and the inflammatory response, and has been shown to upregulate the cell surface expression of adhesion molecules. Clone VPM66 has been shown to recognise CD14 in other domestic ruminant species including Water Buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) (Vimos et. al. 1996) and domestic cattle (Hopkins et. al. 1996). In addition to clone VPM66, clones VPM65 and VPM67 are also available from MyBioSource.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide (NaN3)
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Sheep. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD14 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD14 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adipose Tissue, Blood, Brain, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Muscle, Ovary, Reticulum, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein.
