The CD16 fcgr3a (Catalog #MBS530047) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD16 antibody (PE-CY7) reacts with Murine and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD16 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD16 fcgr3a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The CD16 fcgr3a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #8176551) (NCBI Accession #AAB33925.2) (Uniprot Accession #P08637). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Rat monoclonal CD16 antibody (PE-CY7).
Biological Significance: CD16 is a low affinity Fc receptor. It is a cluster of differentiation found on the surface of natural killer cells, neutrophil polymorphonuclear leukocytes, monocytes and macrophages. It can be used to isolate populations of these cells by antibodies directed towards CD16, utilising FACS (fluorescent-activated cell sorting) or MACS (magnetic-activated cell sorting). Biohazard Information: This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
Tag/Conjugate: PE-CY7
Immunogen: CD16 antibody (PE-CY7) was raised in rat using murine CD16/32 (CD16/Fc gamma II and CD32/Fc gamma III receptors). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD16 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD16 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. CD16 also interacts with the following gene(s): FCGR2A, FCGR2B, PIK3CA, SYK. Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Hemorrhage, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Leukemia, Leukemia, Lymphoid, Lupus Erythematosus, Systemic, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental are some of the diseases may be linked to CD16 antibody (PE-CY7). The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Brain, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Ovary, Spleen, Stomach, Thyroid tissues are correlated with this protein.
