|The CD19 cd19 (Catalog #MBS531225) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD19 antibody (PE-CY7) reacts with Murine CD19 and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD19 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD19 cd19 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD19 cd19 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #901823) (NCBI Accession #AAA69966.1) (Uniprot Accession #P15391). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Rat monoclonal CD19 antibody (PE-CY7).
Biological Significance: B-lymphocyte antigen CD19 also known as CD19 (Cluster of Differentiation 19), is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CD19 gene. CD19 is expressed on follicular dendritic cells and B cells. In fact, it is present on B cells from earliest recognizable B-lineage cells during development to B-cell blasts but is lost on maturation to plasma cells. It primarily acts as a B cell co-receptor in conjunction with CD21 and CD81. Upon activation, the cytoplasmic tail of CD19 becomes phosphorylated, which leads to binding by Src-family kinases and recruitment of PI-3 kinase. Biohazard Information: This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
Immunogen: CD19 antibody (PE-CY7) was raised in rat using murine CD19-expressing K562 human erythroleukemia cells as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD19 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD19 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Bone Marrow, Brain, Intestine, Lung, Lymph, Lymph Node, Spleen, Thymus, Tonsil tissues are correlated with this protein. CD19 also interacts with the following gene(s): CD22, CD79A, CD79B, CD81, CR2, LYN, PIK3R1, SYK, VAV1. Agammaglobulinemia, Cardiovascular Diseases, Common Variable Immunodeficiency, Death, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Vascular Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to CD19 antibody (PE-CY7).
