The CD200 cd200 (Catalog #MBS213016) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD200 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Frozen, Immunoelectron Microscopy (EM), Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/50; Maximum Dilution: 1/100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD200 cd200 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD200 cd200 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #129300) (NCBI Accession #P04218.1) (Uniprot Accession #P04218). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Testing Data (Staining of rat thymocytes with Mouse anti Rat CD200 (MBS213015))
Mouse anti Rat CD200 antibody, clone OX-2 recognizes the rat CD200 cell surface antigen, also known as OX-2, a type I membrane glycoprotein, expressed on rat thymocytes, neurons, follicular dendritic cells, endothelium and at low levels on some B cells and smooth muscle cells. Studies have indicated that the CD200-CD200 ligand system is important in the control of macrophage and granulocyte activation and that this antibody blocks OX-2 mediated T cell costimulation (Ko et al. 2009). This product is routinely tested by flow cytometry on rat thymocytes.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: Rat thymocyte membrane glycoproteins
Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells from the NS1 mouse myeloma cell line.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Rat. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD200 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD200 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Heart, Inner Ear, Lung, Ovary, Pancreas, Prostate, Thymus tissues are correlated with this protein.
