The CD226 cd226 (Catalog #MBS210234) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD226 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Functional Assays (FN), Immunoprecipitation (IP).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1 x 106 cells in 100ul.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/50; Maximum Dilution: 1/200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD226 cd226 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD226 cd226 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #171460997) (NCBI Accession #NP_006557.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q15762). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse anti Human CD226 antibody, clone DX11 recognizes human CD226, a 65kDa glycoprotein, also known as DNAM1 (DNAX accessory molecule-1). CD226 is broadly expressed on T-cells, NK cells, platelets, monocytes and a subset of B cells. CD226 is also expressed by a subset of CD3 positive thymocytes. Mouse anti Human CD226 antibody, clone DX11 is reported to inhibit T- and NK cell mediated cytotoxicity against tumor cell targets and to block TNF alpha and IFN gamma secretion by alloantigen-specific T-cells (Kojima et al. 2003).
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein A from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: Human cytotoxic T lymphocyte clone
Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mouse were fused with cells of the Sp2/0 myeloma cell line.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD226 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD226 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
