The CD227 muc1 (Catalog #MBS210761) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD227 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: Neat; Maximum Dilution: 1/10. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD227 muc1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD227 muc1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #67189007) (NCBI Accession #NP_001018016.1) (Uniprot Accession #P15941). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the MOUSE ANTI HUMAN CD227:FITC with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data (Sandwich ELISA analysis of CD227 expression using Mouse anti Human CD227, clone C595 (MBS212292) as a capture reagent and biotinylated Mouse anti Human CD227, clone VU-4H5 (MBS211488) as a detection reagent with purified breast cancer antigen as antigen for the generation of the standard curve. Detection is by HRP conjugated streptavidin and substrate. Microtitre plate is read at O.D. 450 nm on the iMark Microplate Absorbance Reader. Plasma and serum samples diluted 1:5 are indicated in green and orange respectively)

Mouse anti Human CD227 antibody, clone C595 (NCRC48) recognizes CD227, also known as mucin 1 which is a breast cancer associated mucin encoded by the Muc-1 gene. Mucins are a family of high molecular weight, heavily glycosylated proteins (glycoconjugates) produced by many epithelial tissues in vertebrates. CD227 is expressed on most secretory epithelium, including mammary gland and some hematopoietic cells. This protein is overexpressed abundantly in >90% breast carcinomas and metastases. Mouse anti Human CD227 antibody, clone C595 recognizes the peptide epitope ARG-PRO-ALA-PRO within the protein core of the mucin.
