The CD24 cd24 (Catalog #MBS666632) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The anti-human CD24-Purified (with Antibiotics) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD24 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD24 cd24 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The CD24 cd24 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #209405388) (NCBI Accession #ACI46150.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Testing Data
Information: Human CD24 is a glycosyl phosphatidyl inositol (GPI) anchored surface protein found on B cells during multiple stages of development from precursor to the onset of plasma cell differentiation. Antibody BA-1 recognizes a sialic acid-dependent epitope of human CD24 of approximately 35/45 kd.
Performance: Five x 105 cultured Nalm-6 human tumor cells were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80 ul of anti-CD24 at 10 ug/ml. Cells were washed twice and incubated with 2 degree reagent Goat anti-Mouse/FITC, after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.03 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgM negative control at a similar concentration. Production: Antibody from (low FBS containing) tissue culture supernatant was purified to 95% mouse immunoglobulin by SDS-PAGE (<1% bovine immunoglobulin) using size exclusion chromatography
Buffer: 50 mM Sodium Phosphate pH 7.5, 500 mM Potassium Chloride, 150mM NaCl, 0.5 mg/ml Gentamicin Sulfate (as a preservative).
Group Header: anti-human CD24
Immunogen: Human B lymphocyte tumor cells: NALM-6-M1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD24 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD24 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Lymph, Lymph Node, Mammary Gland tissues are correlated with this protein. CD24 also interacts with the following gene(s): CD19, CD22, CD44, FGR, GLI1, L1CAM, LYN, SIGLEC10. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Inflammation, Lung Neoplasms, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Nervous System Diseases, Pancreatic Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to anti-human CD24-Purified (with Antibiotics).
