The CD25 il2ra (Catalog #MBS690449) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rat Anti-Mouse CD25 reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD25 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).1. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): Yes (1:100-300) 2. Flow Cytometery: Yes (1:100-1000). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD25 il2ra for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD25 il2ra product has the following accession number(s) (GI #254540187) (NCBI Accession #NP_032393.3) (Uniprot Accession #P01590). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Testing Data
The biological effects of interleukin 2 (IL-2) are mediated by its binding to a multi-chain cellular receptor complex. The IL-2 receptor (IL-2 R) complex consists of three glycoprotein chains. The alpha chain (IL-2 R alpha /CD25) and beta chain (IL-2 R beta /CD122) act together with the gamma chain (IL-2 R gamma /CD132) to form a high affinity receptor that transduces the signal upon IL-2 binding. Alone, IL-2 R alpha binds IL-2 with low affinity, but is unable to transduce a signal. The alpha/beta combination binds IL-2 with intermediate affinity, but is still unable to transmit a signal inside the cell. The beta/gamma complex has intermediate affinity and is capable of signaling if the concentration of IL-2 is relatively high.
Antibody Generation: This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells from a rat immunized with recombinant mouse CD25 protein). IgG1 fraction of the culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. Reconstitution: Reconstitute the antibody with 400 ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 500 ug/ml. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD25 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD25 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Arthritis, Rheumatoid, Diabetes Mellitus, Type 1, HIV Infections, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Lung Diseases, Multiple Sclerosis, Necrosis, Vascular Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Rat Anti-Mouse CD25.
