The CD3 cd3e (Catalog #MBS214442) is an Antibody produced from Hamster and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Frozen, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul. The Fc region of monoclonal antibodies may bind non-specifically to cells expressing low affinity Fc receptors. This may be reduced by using SeroBlock FcR.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/25; Maximum Dilution: 1/200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD3 cd3e for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD3 cd3e product has the following accession number(s) (GI #6680886) (NCBI Accession #NP_031674.1) (Uniprot Accession #P22646). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Hamster anti Mouse CD3 antibody, clone 145-2C11 detects CD3 epsilon (CD3e), a 20kDa transmembrane protein also known as CD3 or T3. CD3e is a member of the CD3 complex which consists of four subunits, gamma, delta, epsilon and zeta, and these are associated to the T cell receptor (TCR). TCR plays a critical role in T cell development and function, and is responsible for ligand recognition. It interacts non-covalently with the CD3 dimers delta/epsilon, gamma/epsilon and zeta/zeta which transduce signals from the TCR into the cell. CD3e is primarily expressed on T cells, NK-T cells, and at different levels on thymocytes during T cell differentiation. Hamster anti Mouse CD3 antibody, clone 145-2C11 is useful for in vitro blocking and activation assays, as well as apoptosis induction and in vitro T cell depletions.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide (NaN3)
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: H-2Kb - specific mouse cytotoxic T lymphocyte clone BM10-37.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Mouse. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
