The CD301 n/a (Catalog #MBS216035) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD301 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Frozen, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistology Paraffin*.Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/100; Maximum Dilution: 1/200
Immunohistology - Paraffin: Application Note: Heat mediated antigen retrieval is required prior to staining paraffin-embedded sections with this antibody. MyBioSource recommend citrate buffer, pH6.0, for this purpose. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD301 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Rat anti Mouse CD301 antibody, clone ER-MP23 recognizes murine CD301, a 38 kD cell surface protein that is otherwise known as macrophage galactose N-acetylgalactosamine lectin (MGL) or dendritic cell asialoglycoprotein (DC-ASGPR). In mice, CD301 is predominantly expressed on mature macrophages found associated with a wide range of connective tissues including macrophages in the dermis and the pancreas. Clone ER-MP23 also detects a population of dendritic cells in lymphoid tissue, which are probably recent immigrants from peripheral connective tissue sites. Expression of CD301 is induced by alternative (i.e. IL-4/IL-13 mediated) activation of macrophages and dendritic cells, but not all CD301 positive cells are necessarily IL-4/IL-13 stimulated. Clone ER-MP23 is reported to block the function of mouse CD301. The antibody binds both MGL1 and MGL2 homologues.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: Balb/c macrophage precursor cell hybrids
Fusion Partners: Cells from immunised rats were fused with cells of the rat Y3-Ag1.2.3 myeloma cell line.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Mouse. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD301 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD301 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
