|The CD305 lair1 (Catalog #MBS215683) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD305 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB).
Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul.
Western Blot: This item detects a band of approximately 40 kDa (1).
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/50; Maximum Dilution: 1/100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD305 lair1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD305 lair1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #612407867) (NCBI Accession #NP_001275952.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q6GTX8). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse anti Human CD305 antibody, clone NKTA255 recognizes human leukocyte-associated Ig-like receptor-1 (LAIR-1), a 40kDa cell surface molecule that functions as an inhibitory receptor on natural killer cells, monocytes and T cells. LAIR-1, otherwise known as CD305, is also expressed by other haematopoeitic cells including B cells, but is not expressed by non-haematopoietic, platelets or erythrocytes. Mouse anti Human CD305 antibody, clone NKTA255 is reported to inhibit NK cell triggering via CD16 molecules (Poggi et al. 1995).
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: NK cells lines B12.100 and AM.25
Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunised mice were fused with cells of the P3U1 myeloma cell line.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD305 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD305 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
