The CD33 cd33 (Catalog #MBS520680) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD33 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Western Blot (WB).This antibody is suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Flow Cytometry. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD33 cd33 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD33 cd33 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #32187777) (NCBI Accession #CAD36509.1) (Uniprot Accession #P20138). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Anti-Human CD33, Biotin, (clone: CD33 1C7/1) (Mouse IgG1) with the following immunoassay(s):
Flow Cytometry (FC) (Human peripheral blood monocytes were stained with anti-CD33 (clone: CD33 1C7/1) (filled histogram) or mouse IgG1 isotype control (open histogram).)
anti-Human CD33 monoclonal antibody specifically binds human CD33. CD33 is a 67 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on myeloid cells (granulocyte and macrophage precursors in the bone marrow). CD33 is part of the siglec (sialic acid-binding Ig-related lectins) family and shares common structural features to CD22 and Sialoadhesin.

In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD33 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD33 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Lymph Node, Placenta, Thymus tissues are correlated with this protein. Alzheimer Disease, Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Inflammation, Leukemia, Myeloid, Leukemia, Myeloid, Acute, Leukocytosis, Lung Diseases, Skin Diseases, Skin Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-Human CD33, Biotin, (clone: CD33 1C7/1) (Mouse IgG1).
