The CD34 cd34 (Catalog #MBS468013) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s Ovine CD34 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), CELISA, Immunofluorescence (IF).Immunofluorescence: 1 ug/10^6 cells
Flow Cytometry: 1.2 ug/10^6 cells
CELISA: 1:200 - 1:400
For each application a titration should be performed to determine the optimal concentration. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD34 cd34 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD34 cd34 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4996449) (NCBI Accession #BAA78476.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the anti-ovine CD34 monoclonal antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data (Fig.1: FACS analysis of BOSC23 cells using EQ-8D11-C1 Cat.# MBS468013. BOSC23 cells were transiently transfected with an expression vector encoding either CD34 (red curve) or an irrelevant protein (control transfectant: blue and green curves). Binding of EQ-8D11-C1 was detected with a PE-conjugated secondary antibody. A positive signal was obtained only with CD34 transfected cells.)
Testing Data #2 (Fig.2: CGE analysis of purified EQ-8D11-C1 monoclonal antibody. Lane 1: molecular weight marker, Lane 2: 2ug of purified EQ-8D11-C1 antibody. Proteins were separated by CGE (capillary gel electrophoresis, Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer). Internal control bands (240 kDa / 7 kDa / 4,5 kDa).)
CD34 is a type I membrane protein with an apparent MW of approximately 115 kDa. It is aputative adhesion molecule with a role in early hematopoiesis by mediating the attachment of stem cells to the bone marrow extracellular matrix or directly to stromal cells. CD34 is expressed specifically on immature normal human marrow cells, including hematopoietic progenitor cells (2). It is thought to act as a scaffold for the attachment of lineage specific glycans, allowing stem cells to bind to lectins expressed by stromal cells or other marrow components.
Immunogen: genetic immunisation with cDNA encoding the extracellular domain of ovine CD34
Selection: based on recognition of the complete native protein expressed on transfected mammalian cells. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD34 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD34 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
