The CD3e n/a (Catalog #MBS532072) is an Antibody produced from Hamster and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD3e antibody (Allophycocyanin) reacts with Murine and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD3e can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD3e n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The CD3e n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #305409148) (NCBI Accession #BAJ16152.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Hamster monoclonal CD3e antibody (Allophycocyanin).
Biological Significance: CD3e molecule, epsilon also known as CD3E is a polypeptide which in humans is encoded by the CD3E gene which resides on chromosome 11. The protein encoded by this gene is the CD3-epsilon polypeptide, which together with CD3-gamma, -delta and -zeta, and the T-cell receptor alpha/beta and gamma/delta heterodimers, forms the T cell receptor-CD3 complex. This complex plays an important role in coupling antigen recognition to several intracellular signal-transduction pathways. The genes encoding the epsilon, gamma and delta polypeptides are located in the same cluster on chromosome 11. The epsilon polypeptide plays an essential role in T-cell development. Biohazard Information: This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
Tag/Conjugate: Allophycocyanin
Immunogen: CD3e antibody (Allophycocyanin) was raised in hamster using T cell receptor complexes derived from C6VL-BS thymoma cells as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD3e are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD3e may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
