|The CD4 cd4 (Catalog #MBS214447) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS).
Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul. The Fc region of monoclonal antibodies may bind non-specifically to cells expressing low affinity Fc receptors. This may be reduced by using SeroBlock FcR. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD4 cd4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD4 cd4 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #7304953) (NCBI Accession #NP_038516.1) (Uniprot Accession #P06332). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Rat anti Mouse CD4 antibody, clone RM4-5 detects mouse CD4, a 55 kD protein also known as Ly-4 and L3T4. CD4 is a single chain transmembraneous glycoprotein which belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily, and is primarily expressed on peripheral blood monocytes and tissue macrophages. CD4 is also expressed on a subpopulation of regulatory T cells (CD4+CD25+), which play a key role in the maintenance of self tolerance. Rat anti Mouse CD4 antibody, clone RM4-5 useful for in vitro blocking of ligand binding, as well as in vitro CD4+ T cell depletions.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide (NaN3)
1% Bovine Serum Albumin
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: BALB/c mouse thymocytes
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Mouse. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD4 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD4 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. AIDS-Related Opportunistic Infections, Carcinoma, Cardiovascular Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Vascular Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to RAT ANTI MOUSE CD4:Biotin. Brain, Mammary Gland, Mixed, Pineal Gland, Salivary Gland, Spleen, Thymus, Uncharacterized Tissue tissues are correlated with this protein.
