|The CD44 cd44 (Catalog #MBS224799) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MOUSE ANTI SHEEP CD44 reacts with Sheep and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD44 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD44 cd44 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD44 cd44 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #685122) (NCBI Accession #AAB30429.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the MOUSE ANTI SHEEP CD44 with the following immunoassay(s):
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (Staining of Ovine Lymphocytes with Mouse anti Sheep CD44 followed by Goat anti Mouse IgG (H/L):FITC )
Mouse anti Sheep CD44 antibody, clone 25.32 recognises the ovine CD44 cell surface antigen, a ~95 kDa glycoprotein expressed by most leucocytes and a subpopulation of thymocytes. In immunohistochemical staining, this antibody labels several cell types including medullary thymocytes, kupffer cells, kidney tubular epithelial cells and gut smooth muscle cells. The expression of CD44 is upregulated upon cell activation.
Reactivity Notes: Bovine, Goat, Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD44 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD44 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Embryonic Tissue, Liver, Lung, Lymph Node, Skin, Spleen, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. CD44 also interacts with the following gene(s): ERBB2, HMMR, ICAM1, LCK, MMP9, MSN, NF2, SELE, SPP1. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to MOUSE ANTI SHEEP CD44.
