The CD44 cd44 (Catalog #MBS666471) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The anti-human CD44-Biotin reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD44 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD44 cd44 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The CD44 cd44 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #685122) (NCBI Accession #AAB30429.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the anti-human CD44-Biotin with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data
Information: Human CD44 molecules appear to serve as lymphocyte adhesion molecules with numerous functions in extracellular matrix binding, cell migration, hemopoisis, and lymphocyte homing. Antibody BU75 recognizes epitope 2 of the CD44 molecule which interacts with hyaluronate (HA) mediating binding of lymphocytes to high endothelial venules. Antibody BU75 blocks binding of HA to CD44.
Performance: Five x 105 cultured Molt-4 human tumor cells were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80 ul of anti-CD44 antibody at a concentration of 5 ug/ml. Cells were washed twice and incubated with 2 degree reagent Goat anti-Mouse IgG/FITC, after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.75 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG2a negative control at a similar concentration. Conjugation: Biotin
Production: Antibody was Protein A purified from (low FBS containing) tissue culture supernatant. Purity was >95% Immunoglobulin by SDS-PAGE and contains less than 1% Bovine Immunoglobulin. Product was 0.2u sterile filtered and vialed under aseptic conditions.
Buffer: 50 mM Sodium Phosphate pH 7.5, 100 mM Potassium Chloride, 150mM NaCl.
Immunogen: Human peripheral myeloma cells. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD44 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD44 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Nervous System Diseases, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to anti-human CD44-Biotin.
