The CD5 cd5 (Catalog #MBS219892) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Frozen, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunoprecipitation (IP).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/50; Maximum Dilution: 1/100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD5 cd5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD5 cd5 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #374720857) (NCBI Accession #AEZ67805.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Rat anti Dog CD5 antibody, clone YKIX322.3 recognizes canine CD5, a 67 kDa cell surface type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein also known as lymphocyte antigen T1, Ly-1 or Leu-1. CD5 is expressed on the surface of T-cells and thymocytes, CD5 is also expressed by NK cells at low levels (Huang et al. 2008). Rat anti dog CD5, cloneYKIX322.3 was clustered as canine CD5 in the First Canine Leucocyte Antigen Workshop (Cobbold et al. 1994). In a study of 73 cases of canine chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) CD5 expression was absent on all cases of B-cell CLL as defined by CD21 expression and lack of CD3 or other T cell antigen expression (Vernau and Moore 1999). Rat anti dog CD5 serves as an useful marker for the discrimination of canine leukemias of differing origins (Villiers 2002).
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide (NaN3)
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein A from tissue culture supernatant. Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Dog. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD5 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD5 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
