The CD55 cd55 (Catalog #MBS488248) is a Recombinant Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CD55 [LU30] reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD55 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD55 cd55 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The CD55 cd55 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #639600) (NCBI Accession #AAC60633.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given recombinant antibody. We\'ve tested the Anti-CD55 [LU30] with the following immunoassay(s):
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) ( Flow-cytometry using the anti-CD55 (Complement decay-accelerating factor) antibody LU-30 U93 cells were stained with unimmunized rabbit IgG antibody (black line) or the rabbit-chimeric version of LU-30 at a concentration of 10 ug/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using an anti-rabbit IgG JK (FITC-conjugate) antibody (129936) at 2 ug/ml and cells analyzed on a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) ( Immunohistochemical staining of human lung tissue using anti-CD55 antibody LU30 Anti-CD55 (Complement decay-accelerating factor)staining of paraffin embedded human lung tissue using the rabbit-chimeric version of LU30 for 20 mins followed by DAB (3,3\'-diaminobenzidine), and counter staining with haematoxylin. Strong staining of the epithelial surface of alveoli may be observed. Recommended concentration, 2-4 ug/ml.)
Recombinant monoclonal antibody to CD55. Manufactured using Recombinant Platform with variable regions (i.e. specificity) from the scFv LU30.
Immunogen: Human CD55.
Antigen: CD55
Antigen Description: Human CD55.
