The CD79a cd79a (Catalog #MBS214377) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MOUSE ANTI HUMAN CD79a:FITC reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD79a can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry.Flow Cytometry(1): Neat - 1/5
Flow Cytometry Note: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul.
* Membrane permeabilisation is required for this application. We recommend the use of Leucoperm for this purpose.
. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD79a cd79a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD79a cd79a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4502685) (NCBI Accession #NP_001774.1) (Uniprot Accession #P11912). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the MOUSE ANTI HUMAN CD79a:FITC with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data #1 (Staining of paraffin embedded human tonsil with Mouse anti Human CD79a (MBS214376))
Species Cross Reactivity: Reacts with: Mouse, Dog, Rabbit, Horse, Pig, Monkey, Rat, Bovine, Chicken, Guinea Pig
N.B. Antibody reactivity and working conditions may vary between species.
Specificity Note: This product recognises an epitope within the cytoplasmic domain of CD79a. CD79a, also known as mb-1, is a 45kD protein that is expressed by B lymphocytes during differentiation from early pre-B cell stage through to plasma cells.
The CD79a molecule associates with CD79b (B29) to form a heterodimer that is non-covalently linked to surface immunoglobulin, forming the B-cell receptor (BCR) complex. The CD79a/CD79b heterodimers are also necessary for intracellular signalling following antigen-binding to surface immunoglobulin.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to 202-216 amino acid sequence of human mb-1.
Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunised Balb/c mice were fused with cells of the Sp2/0 myeloma cell line. Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant
Preservative Stabilisers: 0.09% - Sodium Azide (NaN3)
1% - Bovine Serum Albumin
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline pH7.4. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD79a are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD79a may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
