The CD8 n/a (Catalog #MBS5305631) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rat monoclonal CD8 antibody (FITC) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD8 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).
FC: <= 0.5 ug/test. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD8 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The CD8 n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #76786711) (NCBI Accession #ABA55041.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Rat monoclonal CD8 antibody (FITC) with the following immunoassay(s):
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (Staining of C57BL/6 splenocytes with 0.25 ug of Rat IgG2a kappa Isotype Control (FITC) (open histogram) or 0.25 ug of CD8a antibody (FITC) (filled histogram). Total viable cells were used for analysis.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) CD8.

Assay Information: A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10? to 10? cells/test. It is ecommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Conjugate: FITC. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD8 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD8 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
