The CD80 cd80 (Catalog #MBS214318) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD80 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul. The Fc region of monoclonal antibodies may bind non-specifically to cells expressing low affinity Fc receptors. This may be reduced by using SeroBlock FcR.
Flow Cytometry: Maximum Dilution: Neat. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD80 cd80 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD80 cd80 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #112983684) (NCBI Accession #NP_033985.3) (Uniprot Accession #Q00609). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Rat anti Mouse CD80 antibody, clone RM80 recognizes mouse CD80 (B7-1), a 60kD cell surface glycoprotein which is a member of the CD28/B7 family. In mice, CD80 is expressed on monocytes, peritoneal macrophages and dendritic cells, and expression may be significantly increased upon B lymphocytes by LPS and by IL-4. CD80 has been identified as a ligand for CD28 and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen-4 (CTLA-4), two structurally similar molecules expressed on T cells. CD28 and CTLA4 are two receptors that have essential but opposing functions in T-cell stimulation. The Interaction of CD80 with CD28 stimulates and sustains T cell responses, whereas the interaction of CD80 with CTLA4 is reported to inhibit T-cell responses.
Reconstitution: Reconstitute with 1.0ml distilled water
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide (NaN3)
1% Bovine Serum Albumin
5% Sucrose
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: BCL1 cells expressing CD80
Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunised SD rats were fused with cells of the P3U1 myeloma cell line.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Mouse. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD80 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD80 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Lung Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to RAT ANTI MOUSE CD80:RPE.
