Information: Human CD80 (B7-1) is a costimulatory ligand for CD28 and CTLA-4. CD80 is expressed on activated B cells. Antibody P1.H5.A1.A1 recognizes the CD80 molecule and blocks binding of soluble CD152 Ig fusion protein to CD80.
Performance: Five x 105 cultured Raji cells were incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80 ul of anti-CD80/R-PE at a 1:50 dilution (20 ug/ml). Cells were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.72 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1/R-PE negative control at a similar concentration. Binding was blocked when cells were pre incubated 10 minutes with 20 ul of 0.5 mg/ml anti-CD80 (P1.H5.A1.A1) antibody. Conjugation: PE
