The CD81 cd81 (Catalog #MBS215272) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD81 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul.
Flow Cytometry: Maximum Dilution: Neat. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD81 cd81 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD81 cd81 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #663071018) (NCBI Accession #NP_001284578.1) (Uniprot Accession #P60033). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse anti Human CD81 antibody, clone 1D6 recognizes human CD81, a 26kDa cell surface antigen also known as TAPA-1, and a member of the tetraspanin family. CD81 is widely expressed on human leucocytes and appears to be involved in a variety of cellular leucocytes including activation, proliferation and differentiation. Mouse anti Human CD81 antibody, clone 1D6 is a potent CD81 reagent, induces homotypic adhesion and has powerful anti-proliferative effects.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide
1% Bovine Serum Albumin
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: OCI-LY8 cells aggregated by 5A6 (another CD81 antibody)
Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse PX3-Ag.8.653 myeloma cell line.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD81 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD81 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Lymph Node, Skin, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
