|The CD88 c5ar1 (Catalog #MBS216120) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD88 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS).
Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul.
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/50; Maximum Dilution: 1/100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD88 c5ar1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD88 c5ar1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #291167769) (NCBI Accession #NP_001167021.1) (Uniprot Accession #P30993). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Rat anti Mouse CD88 monoclonal antibody recognizes murine CD88, also known as C5a anaphylatoxin chemotactic receptor 1 (C5aR). a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. CD88 is a ~45kDa multi pass membrane protein and functions as a receptor for the complement component C5a, a potent proinflammatory molecule and a chemoattractant for neutrophils to sites of infection. In mouse, CD88 is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes and macrophages but not on resting or stimulated lymphocytes. Clone 20/70 has been reported to block the binding of the C5a to murine CD88, (Soruri et al. 2003).
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Mouse. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD88 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD88 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. CD88 also interacts with the following gene(s): C3ar1, Ccl5, Gnai2. Bone, Bone Marrow, Embryonic Tissue, Liver, Skin, Spleen tissues are correlated with this protein.
