The CD95 fas (Catalog #MBS832314) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD95 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).FC: 5 ul (0.5 ug)/test
A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD95 fas for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD95 fas product has the following accession number(s) (GI #13539243) (NCBI Accession #CAC35541.1) (Uniprot Accession #P25445). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the CD95 antibody (PE) with the following immunoassay(s):
Flow Cytometry (Flow Cytometric analysis using CD95 antibody
Staining of BALB/c thymocytes with 1 ug of Mouse IgG1 kappa Isotype Control (PE) (blue histogram) or 1 ug of CD95 antibody (PE) (purple histogram). Total viable cells were used for analysis.)

Mouse monoclonal CD95 antibody (PE).
Biological Significance: The 15A7 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD95, a 40-50 kDa member of the TNFR superfamily. CD95 is expressed by a broad range of hematopoietic and non-hematopoietic cells including monocytes, neutrophils, activated lymphocytes and fibroblasts. Interaction of CD95 on mature lymphocytes with its ligand induces apoptosis and is thought to be important in peripheral tolerance. 15A7 reacts with mouse CD95 in BALB/c strain and a bit more weakly in C57Bl/6 strain. 15A7 does not induce apoptosis of Fas-expressing cells. Tag/Conjugate: PE. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD95 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD95 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Autoimmune Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Fatty Liver, Heart Diseases, Hematologic Diseases, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Necrosis, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to CD95 antibody (PE).
