The CEACAM-1 ceacam1 (Catalog #MBS690561) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse Anti-Human CEACAM-1 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CEACAM-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).ELISA: Use at 10 ug/ml FACS: Use at 10 ug/ml (weak) IF/IHC Use at 10 ug /ml IP 10 ug/IP Western Blot: Use at 5 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CEACAM-1 ceacam1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CEACAM-1 ceacam1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #68161541) (NCBI Accession #NP_001192273.1) (Uniprot Accession #P13688). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Carcinoembryonic Antigen-related Cell Adhesion Molecule 1 (CEACAM-1), also known as CD66a and BGP-I, is a 115 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein that belongs to the membrane-bound CEA subfamily of the CEA superfamily. On the surface of cells, it forms noncovalent homo- and heterodimers. The extracellular region contains three C2-type Ig-like domains and one N-terminal V-type Ig-like domain. Multiple splice variants involving regions C-terminal to the second C2-type domain (aa 320 and beyond) exist.
Immunogen: Recombinant human sCEACAM-1/Fc lacking the N-domain
Preparation: Monoclonal antibodies were produced with the help of NS1/0 mice using recombinant human soluble CEACAM-1-Fc lacking the N-domain (produced in HEK293 cells) as the immunizing antigen. Buffer: PBS. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CEACAM-1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CEACAM-1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adenocarcinoma, Gastrointestinal Diseases, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental are some of the diseases may be linked to Mouse Anti-Human CEACAM-1. Blood, Brain, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Placenta, Skin, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein.
