The CFB cfb (Catalog #MBS212918) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s COMPLEMENT FACTOR B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Frozen, ELISA (EIA)*, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Western Blot (WB).ELISA: Application Note: Clone 10-09 binds to both the Bb fragment and complement factor B so is not suitable for all ELISA applications. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CFB cfb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CFB cfb product has the following accession number(s) (GI #67782358) (NCBI Accession #NP_001701.2) (Uniprot Accession #P00751). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

MBS212918 recognises the Bb fragment of 90 kDa human complement factor B, present in blood serum. C3b associates with complement factor B, inducing conformational change which enables complement factor D to cleave the N-terminal of complement factor B, the Ba subunit, leaving the 63 kDa Bb subunit associated with C3b and forming C3 convertase. Subunit Bb is involved in the proliferation of preactivated B lymphocytes. Conversely, Ba inhibits lymphocyte proliferation.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.1% Sodium Azide (NaN3)
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein A. Immunogen: Human factor B
Histology Positive Control Tissue: Kidney from post streptococcal glomerulonephritis patients.
Buffer Solution: Borate buffered saline
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CFB are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CFB may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Bone, Brain, Eye, Heart, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. CFB also interacts with the following gene(s): C1R, C4A, CFI, CFP, SERPING1. Atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome, Cardiovascular Diseases, Fibrosis, Heart Diseases, Immune System Diseases, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Macular Degeneration, Necrosis, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to MOUSE ANTI HUMAN COMPLEMENT FACTOR B (Bb FRAGMENT).
