The Clec7a clec7a (Catalog #MBS605598) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Dectin-1, Low Endotoxin (C-type lectin domain family 7 member A, Dendritic cell-associated C-type lectin 1, DC-associated C-type lectin 1, Beta-glucan receptor, C-type lectin superfamily member 12, CLEC7A, BGR, CLECSF12, DECTIN1, UNQ539/PRO1082) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Dectin-1, Low Endotoxin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Funcional Assays.
Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat -1:25; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Clec7a clec7a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The Clec7a clec7a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #8102031) (NCBI Accession #AAF72710.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q6QLQ4). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Dectin-1, also known as beta-glucan receptor (bGR), is a C-type lectin domain family member. It is a major pathogen pattern-recognition receptor that binds beta-glucans, glucose polymers that form cell-wall components or exopolymers of yeasts, fungi and some bacteria. Beta-glucans have also been used experimentally and therapeutically as immunomodulators that enhance resistance to bacterial, yeast, viral and protozoan infections, as well as tumor formation. Dectin-1 also acts as a co-stimulatory molecule on T-cells to induce their proliferation and is necessary for the TLR2-mediated inflammatory response. It is highly expressed on peripheral blood leukocytes and dendritic cells.
Human Dectin-1 has two major (bGR-An and bGR-B) and several minor isoforms. bGR-An and bGR-B differs by the presence and absence, respectively, of a stalk region. D1876-48A recognizes both of these isoforms, and it could be used to inhibit receptor function.
Immunogen: NIH3T3 cells expressing full length Beta-glucan receptor.
Endotoxin Level: 0.1EU/ug. Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized C57BL/6 mice were fused with cells of the murine SP2 myeloma cell line. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing Clec7a are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as Clec7a may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
