The CTDSP1 ctdsp1 (Catalog #MBS533191) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CTDSP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).WB: 1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CTDSP1 ctdsp1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CTDSP1 ctdsp1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #10864009) (NCBI Accession #NP_067021) (Uniprot Accession #Q9GZU7). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the CTDSP1 antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (Western Blot analysis using CTDSP1 antibody
Western Blot analysis of HEK293T cell lysates (5 ug) transfected with either recombinant CTDSP1 protein (Right) or empty vector (Left) detected with CTDSP1 antibody)
Mouse monoclonal CTDSP1 antibody.
Biological Significance: Carboxy-terminal domain, RNA polymerase II, polypeptide A phosphatase 1, also known as CTDSP1, is a class 2C phosphatase with activity dependent on the conserved DxD motif. CTDSP1 preferentially catalyzes the dephosphorylation of \'Ser-5\' within the tandem 7 residues repeats in the C-terminal domain (CTD) of the largest RNA polymerase II subunit POLR2A. Also it negatively regulates RNA polymerase II transcription, possibly by controlling the transition from initiation/capping to processive transcript elongation. Cross-Reactivity: Human
Immunogen: CTDSP1 antibody was raised in mouse using a full length recombinant protein of human CTDSP1 (NP_067021) produced in E Coli as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CTDSP1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CTDSP1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Adenocarcinoma, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Chromosome Aberrations, Infertility, Male, Liver Neoplasms, Necrosis are some of the diseases may be linked to CTDSP1 antibody. CTDSP1 also interacts with the following gene(s): CTDP1, MBP, SMAD1, SMAD2, SMAD3. Blood, Bone, Brain, Liver, Lymph, Lymph Node, Nerve, Placenta, Prostate, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein.
