The CTNNBL1 ctnnbl1 (Catalog #MBS476562) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CTNNBL1 Mouse mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CTNNBL1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CTNNBL1 ctnnbl1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The CTNNBL1 ctnnbl1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #649142097) (NCBI Accession #AIC60426.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Entrez Summary: The protein encoded by this gene is a component of the pre-mRNA-processing factor 19-cell division cycle 5-like (PRP19-CDC5L) protein complex, which activates pre-mRNA splicing and is an integral part of the spliceosome. The encoded protein is also a nuclear localization sequence binding protein, and binds to activation-induced deaminase and is important for antibody diversification. This gene may also be associated with the development of obesity. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A pseudogene of this gene has been defined on the X chromosome.
Immunogen: Purified recombinant fragment of human CTNNBL1 (AA: 390-557) expressed in E Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CTNNBL1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CTNNBL1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
