The EIF4E2 eif4e2 (Catalog #MBS9200203) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The EIF4E2 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s EIF4E2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA).
WB~~1:100~250. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EIF4E2 eif4e2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The EIF4E2 eif4e2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4757702) (NCBI Accession #NP_004837.1) (Uniprot Accession #O60573). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the EIF4E2 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (EIF4E2/MB10227 antibody western blot analysis in NCI-H460 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the EIF4E2/MB10227 antibody detected the EIF4E2/MB10227 protein (arrow).)
Western Blot (WB) EIF4E2.

EIF4E2 recognizes and binds the 7-methylguanosine-containing mRNA cap during an early step in the initiation of protein synthesis and facilitates ribosome binding by inducing the unwinding of the mRNAs secondary structures.

Antigen Type: Recombinant Protein. Antigen Source: HUMAN. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing EIF4E2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as EIF4E2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. EIF4E2 also interacts with the following gene(s): ARIH1, EIF4EBP1, EIF4ENIF1. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Brain, Lung, Pancreas tissues are correlated with this protein.
