The EndoPDI n/a (Catalog #MBS190894) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s EndoPDI can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoblot (IB).Immunoblotting: Use at 1ug/ml. A band of ~48kDa is detected. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EndoPDI n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Endothelial protein disulfide isomerase (EndoPDI) is a thiredoxin member of the protein disulfide isomerase family of chaperones. This enzyme is localized in the endoplasmic reticulum in primary endothelial cells but colocalizes with nucleoli in the nuclei of breast, colon, and kidney cancer cells. EndoPDI mRNA and protein expression is iduced by hypoxia and exhibits a protective effect on endothelial cells during hypoxia.
Antigen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa 52-63 (ADGEDGQDPHSK) of human EndoPDI (accession no. NP_001139021). Positive Control: Heat-shocked HeLa cell lysate.
Dilution Instructions: Dilute in PBS or medium which is identical to that used in the assay system. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing EndoPDI are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as EndoPDI may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
