The EPN2 epn2 (Catalog #MBS832982) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The EPN2 antibody reacts with Human, Rat, Monkey and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s EPN2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB).
IF: 1:100
FC: 1:100
IHC: 1:150
WB: 1:500-2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EPN2 epn2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The EPN2 epn2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #47125263) (NCBI Accession #AAH70036.1) (Uniprot Accession #O95208). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the EPN2 antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (Flow Cytometric analysis of Hela cells using EPN2 antibody (Red), compared to a nonspecific negative control antibody (Blue).)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) EPN2.

Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of HEK293T cell lysates (5 ug) transfected with either recombinant EPN2 protein (Right) or empty vector (Left) detected with EPN2 antibody)
Western Blot (WB) EPN2.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of EPN2 protein in paraffin embedded Carcinoma of Human kidney tissue using EPN2 antibody)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) EPN2.

Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescent staining of COS7 cells transiently transfected with recombinant EPN2 protein using EPN2 antibody)
Immunofluorescence (IF) EPN2.

Mouse monoclonal EPN2 antibody.

Biological Significance: This gene encodes a protein which interacts with clathrin and adaptor-related protein complex 2, alpha 1 subunit. The protein is found in a brain-derived clathrin-coated vesicle fraction and localizes to the peri-Golgi region and the cell periphery. The protein is thought to be involved in clathrin-mediated endocytosis. Immunogen: EPN2 antibody was raised in Mouse using full length human recombinant protein of human EPN2 produced in HEK293T cell as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing EPN2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as EPN2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to EPN2 antibody.
