The FGFR-3 fgfr3 (Catalog #MBS690392) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse Anti-Human FGFR-3 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s FGFR-3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) - Paraffin. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FGFR-3 fgfr3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The FGFR-3 fgfr3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4503711) (NCBI Accession #NP_000133.1) (Uniprot Accession #P22607). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 3 (FGF R3) is a type I transmembrane tyrosine kinase receptor that binds FGF ligands along with heparin or heparin sulfateproteoglycans as cofactors. A segment of the membrane proximal Ig-like domain can be encoded by two different exons resulting in (IIIb) or (IIIc) isoforms. The IIIb or IIIc isoforms recognize FGF1, 2, 4, 8b, 8e, 8f, 9, and 17b. FGF R3 plays a role in skeletal, brain, lung, intestine, kidney, and skin development.
Antibody Generation: The antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells from a mouse) immunized with the recombinant extracellular domain of human Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor-3 (sFGFR-3). The IgG1 fraction of the tissue culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. Reconstitution: Reconstitute the antibody with 200 ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 500 ug/ml. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing FGFR-3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as FGFR-3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Achondroplasia, Brain Diseases, Carcinoma, Transitional Cell, Disease Models, Animal, Hypochondroplasia, Kidney Diseases, Muenke Syndrome, Neoplasms, Thanatophoric Dysplasia, Urinary Bladder Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to Mouse Anti-Human FGFR-3. FGFR-3 also interacts with the following gene(s): FGF1, FGF17, FGF2, FGF3, FGF4, FGF5, FGF6, FGF7, FGF8, FGF9. Bladder, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Connective Tissue, Embryonic Tissue, Kidney, Lung, Nerve, Skin tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
