The FGFR3 eif4ebp1 (Catalog #MBS476885) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-FGFR3 Mouse mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s FGFR3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FGFR3 eif4ebp1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The FGFR3 eif4ebp1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #958832671) (NCBI Accession #JAO86522.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Entrez Summary: This gene encodes a member of the fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) family, with its amino acid sequence being highly conserved between members and among divergent species. FGFR family members differ from one another in their ligand affinities and tissue distribution. A full-length representative protein would consist of an extracellular region, composed of three immunoglobulin-like domains, a single hydrophobic membrane-spanning segment and a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase domain. The extracellular portion of the protein interacts with fibroblast growth factors, setting in motion a cascade of downstream signals, ultimately influencing mitogenesis and differentiation. This particular family member binds acidic and basic fibroblast growth hormone and plays a role in bone development and maintenance. Mutations in this gene lead to craniosynostosis and multiple types of skeletal dysplasia. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different protein isoforms have been described. Immunogen: Purified recombinant fragment of 4EBP1 expressed in E Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing FGFR3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as FGFR3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. FGFR3 also interacts with the following gene(s): AKT1, EIF4E, EIF4G1, LRRK2, MAPKAP1, MLST8, MTOR, RICTOR, RPS6KB1, RPTOR. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Brain, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Pancreas, Skin, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Disease Models, Animal, Hypertrophy, Kidney Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Experimental are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-FGFR3 Mouse mAb.
